The Arc-Com Design Studio presents the Touch Collection, a trio of highly tactile and visually striking textiles—Connect, Caress, and Embrace—inspired by the profound impact of the global pandemic on our social and physical interactions. As touch plays a vital role in human connection, comfort, and well-being, this collection was designed to enhance collaborative spaces with rich textures that stimulate creativity and productivity.
At the heart of Embrace is Arc-Com’s commitment to sustainability through the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, which combats marine plastic pollution. This textile integrates SEAQUAL INITIATIVE YARN—crafted from upcycled marine and post-consumer plastic—woven with plush chenille for a luxurious, soft hand. Its palette includes jewel tones, deep blue-greens, and a striking graphite grey, all bleach-cleanable.
Caress utilizes innovative multicolored twist yarns woven in both warp and weft, creating a dynamic, rugged texture. Its seven-color palette balances rich neutrals with bold Emerald, Ruby, and Topaz accents. Meanwhile, Connect employs a unique five-yarn twisting technique to achieve a wavy, textured gros point aesthetic. Its graphic palette features black and white, ocean blue, and fiery red.
