The Explorer Collection examines celestial shape, color and light. This, three pattern, color coordinated grouping includes patterns Andromeda, Moon Phase and Rover.
Andromeda beautifully captures the energy and ever-changing lighting of its namesake galaxy. A cut and uncut printed velvet with a metallic overprint makes this textile not only technically advanced but aesthetically impressive. Manufactured utilizing a 100% polyester backing and pile, Andromeda, while looking like a piece of art, meets all of the performance specifications for contract end use.
Moon Phase explores the cycles and surface of the moon. Tiny orbs are shaded with varied intricate weave structures to capture the changing light conditions and textures on the lunar surface.
Rover is a modern, abstracted, mid-scale pattern that takes its visual cues from the mechanics of space exploration vehicles.
All three patterns in the Explorer Collection are LBC Red List Free, REACH compliant, Prop 65 compliant AB-2998 compliant and meet the criteria for the Healthier Hospital Initiative. Moon Phase and Rover are bleach cleanable and all three patterns test to 150,000 DR.
