The Arc-Com Design Studio drew inspiration from nomadic cultures for its latest textile launch—The Nomad Collection. Throughout history, nomads have relied on available resources, adapting and repurposing materials for survival. Today, a similar mindset is reshaping design, influenced by a new generation that values mobility, sustainability, and locally sourced materials.
Inspired by one of the world’s oldest nomadic cultures—the Moroccan Berbers—The Nomad Collection modernizes traditional art and architecture through rich textures and dimensional surfaces. Designed to satisfy our innate desire for tactile engagement, the collection uses unique novelty yarns to create sumptuous, high-performance textiles.
The collection features four designs:
Wanderer – A bold statement stripe with a handcrafted aesthetic.
Venture – A mid-scale pattern reminiscent of Moroccan gates, appearing hand-embroidered.
Quest – A textured geometric coordinate inspired by Wanderer's framework.
Journey – A plush velvet with a 19-color palette, versatile for upholstery and drapery.
